Training

Training is a key part of any successful organization. There are several classes and courses offered to help you make the Scouting experience a better one for your youth.

All adults directly working with youth must complete Youth Protection Training.

Troop 226 has adopted a tailored version of the "Troop W.I.S.E." program as part of our required training for any adult who will provide transportation of Scouts and/or gear, chaperone short-term troop activities, or interacting directly with the Scouts.  Adults who provide long-term chaperoning are further required to complete BSA leadership training.
